Western Extra offers you the chance to win $250,000 in draws everyday if you play from Western Canada. The key to success is to match the winning numbers in the right order. Take a look at the winning Western Extra numbers straight after the latest draw. The game is played every day alongside Western Canada games. Seven digits between 0 and 9 are selected at random. See how many you have matched in the right order.
Extra can be played together with Lotto Max or Western Max. It’s also available alongside other games in Western Canada, such as Daily Grand, Lotto 6/49 and Pick games, so there is a draw every day.
You are entered into the draw that takes place on the same night as the main game you are playing. If you buy a ticket for Tuesday’s Lotto Max, for example, you will be entered into Tuesday’s Extra draw.
All you need to do is mark the Extra box underneath the relevant play board on your selection slip. For Lotto Max and Western Max, you can add up to five Extra entries on one ticket. It costs an additional $1 per Extra play.
For each entry, you receive a random seven-digit number. It is not possible to choose your own numbers.
There’s a top prize of $250,000 on Western Extra if you can match all seven of the digits on your ticket to the winning seven digits in the correct order.
You can also win prizes for matching fewer numbers, but your sequence always has to start from the right-hand side. For example, there’s a $100,000 prize for getting the last six digits in the same positions as the winning numbers, but no prize for matching the first six and missing out on the final digit.
