Encore is the Ontario add-on game which is simple to play and offers 22 different ways to win. You pick up prizes by matching numbers in the right order, with payouts going all the way up to $1 million if you get all seven exactly the same. You even win a prize just by matching the final number. Learn more about how to play Ontario Encore.
The Encore numbers are updated straight after every draw so that you can find out if you are a winner. Go to the Numbers page to see the results. The numbers are displayed in the order they were drawn, and you can also see all previous results.
Latest Encore NumbersTo play, ask the retailer to include Encore when you purchase your Lotto Max ticket. Alternatively, you can mark the option to take part on your selection slip and indicate how many Encore entries you want. You can play up to 10 on a single ticket. The cost per play is $1.
For each Encore entry, a seven-digit number is randomly selected on your behalf. This could be anything from 0000000 to 9999999.
You can play Encore alongside various lotteries in Ontario, including Lotto Max. It can also be played with Lotto 6/49, Ontario 49, Lottario, Daily Grand and Daily Keno. The game is not available in other provinces and cannot be played on its own.
Draws take place twice a day, so you will be entered into the Encore game that runs parallel to the main host lottery you are taking part in. For example, if you are entering Tuesday’s Lotto Max draw, you will also be put into the Encore game on the same night. Midday draws can only be played alongside Daily Keno, Pick 2, Pick 3 and Pick 4.
You win prizes if the Encore numbers on your ticket match up to the winning digits that are selected at random. You must match all seven digits in the same places to get the top prize of $1 million, but there are more than 20 other ways to win.
You can win by matching numbers in sequence from the back (right to left) or the front (left to right). There are also combination prizes, so if you match enough numbers from the front and the back the two payouts are added together.
